Community participation is central to creating a plan for the Fairview Developmental Center that reflects the diversity, culture, and vision of the Costa Mesa Community. There are a variety of opportunities for participation throughout this process, including community workshops held at key project milestones. If you couldn’t join us for previous workshops, review materials below and join us for one of our upcoming workshops!

Join us for FDC Workshop 4! You will learn about 3 Land Use Concepts for FDC in a hybrid open house, which includes a presentation and time to browse informational stations.
The workshop will give you time to learn about the features and trade-offs of each concept, listen in to a short presentation, and participate in Q&A. The results of analysis for traffic and infrastructure will be shared.
You will be able to take an online survey to provide feedback on the various components of the Land Use Concepts. The survey will remain open until August 30th at 5pm.

Workshop 3 was provided in an Open House format which gave the community the opportunity to walk through various stations to learn more about a variety of topics related to the FDC Specific Plan. If you missed the Open House, spend some time reviewing the materials at each station using the buttons below.

The second workshop focused on the draft Vision and Guiding Principles, based on feedback from the first workshop. The workshop also gathered input and community preference on circulation and open space concepts.
