Community participation is central to creating a plan for the Fairview Developmental Center that reflects the diversity, culture, and vision of the Costa Mesa Community. There are a variety of opportunities for participation throughout this process, including community workshops held at key project milestones. If you couldn’t join us for previous workshops, review materials below and join us for one of our upcoming workshops!

Outreach Process

Workshop #1

The first workshop focused on idea generation for ingredients of a great neighborhood which will inform a draft vision statement and set of guiding principles.

Workshop #3

Topic: FDC Open House

Please join us for a project Open House! Come with your questions about the FDC site; bring your ideas and input to share. The Open House format gives the community the opportunity to walk through various stations to learn more about a variety of topics related to the FDC Specific Plan- there will be not a formal presentation, participants are welcome to drop in at any time from 6 pm to 8 pm at the locations below.
